The two singers Gene Gardiner and Steven James who are from the Illegal Tender Band will be performing some of the new songs from the new releases coming out soon from the Illegal Tender Band. Both men are accomplished guitarists and lead singers, and should give the listeners a very good performance this night. Along with this show comes incredible experience and creativity to it's finest level.
Songs soon to be released are Til Death Do Us Part, and Love Me Tonite plus many other tunes from their long list of country rock songs. The music can range from country to rock and into jazz as well. Don't be surprised if you hear some jazz coming out of these two performers. Normally they play the country rock but also love some good southern flavors and Jazz as well.

Today we had the practice again with Illegal Tender. We laid down three songs on a demo set of recorded tracks, Country Love, then Til Death Do Us Part, and my song Love Me Tonite. We spent most of the evening doing the first two songs. getting the basic sounds down like the drums bass and second acoustic guitar me, and lead guitars Steven James. Then they worked my song Love Me To nite the rest of the night. OH it sounded so cool! I played the acoustic guitar on that one and the Vocals. But we just wanted to be able to get the basic song down, but by the end of the night we had problems with the sound systems and we couldn't hear everything right. then my voice started to go bad from singing so much. SO I finally got the drums, bass and lead guitars down then my lead acoustic back up went down, by this time I was whispering the vocals because my voice had gotten so bad then. Steven my lead guitar was laughing at me but we had a good night and got all we scheduled to get done to night done. These recordings are demos of what the final recordings will sound like. So in a couple days I go back and put in the Vocals so they sound good, I have to work the bass for all of these because we have to hire a new bass player. Today we added a new beginning to the song, I start the song with the acoustic kicking things off with this driving beat, then after to lines of that comes the next layer of introduction with the lead guitar coming in and the bass and rest of the band. The drums splash in with a great delivery as this goes. I can't wait to do these songs live. The other two songs I have to learn to sing and play as well. SO we will be putting more songs on this list next week. We all got tired by the 11 pm time frame and I just finished laying down the lead acoustic part into the recorder. When it played back we had to play along it, it to make sure it went in correctly and sounded good. It did of coarse and we stopped to all take a rest and go home. SO we had a good night of music.

I have the honor of being able to join up with Steven James and some of his musicians that come along with him. Steven is a very talented singer song writer who has joined me with the Illegal Tender Band. We will be writing together and recording many new songs yet to come as well. Steven is very good guitarist who is going to be doing the lead guitar along with me. So we will have two lead players in Illegal Tender plus Key boards and Bass with drums. Now there are two key board players but one of them who is named Perry writes songs for us as well, but is not interested in singing live. Then we have another key board player coming in with Steven who is very good at performing and writing as well. He will be the steady key board player. I have not met him yet but expect to soon. The band will take on a much more new and innovative approach to the country and country rock scene. Steven and I compliment each others music and styles in a great way! I couldn't believe how good it all sounded when we practiced together. Right now we have 4 songs getting ready to record and deliver to International radio stations and national stations here in the USA. So we want to put these songs out right away then work on the live shows we want so much to go do! This is going to sound so cool! You can see more about Steven James in www.mypace.com. He has a great song I heard while I was there last week. It is called (Til Death Do Us Part) oh my god it was up tempo and beautiful sounding song! So I can't wait to see how this is all going to sound! Should be like the Eagles Sound in many ways. I was given a very nice accoustic guitar to compliment our music. A close friend of mine let me have it and said that it was the sound we needed to have to give it that much needed punch to our music! I admit it sounds incredible next to the lead guitar singing that harmony over the acoustic guitar! We I will write more soon. We have to record these songs starting tomorrow. The music will be released under the name Illegal Tender. Steven and I will keep our stage names and work under the Illegal Tender name as the name of the band. So I better get to work! Hi, right now you will see that there have been some new songs added to the list. So far the titles just have been put in. But I am going to be loading the lyrics and the recorded music as I get it done. Some of these I have about ready to go, so I will load those first. Then the others will show up soon. Just wanted you to see there is activity on the music and we are working like beavers here to bring in the rest of all of this. These new sangs are all new written by me and some other people along with me. But there is a copy song from the Everly Brothers I will be loading in soon called Let It Be Me. I just wrote a new arrangement for the song but it is still the same melody it had before. It has a more 2009 updated sound now. I just love it! It is the only one we did not write on the list so far. I also have been so busy with the back up band getting that ready also. I feel like I have 25 arms and hands right now! Can't get it done fast enough! Some of the delays are from the legal processes that need to be done before the songs can be put public for everyone to see. There are many things involved with the production of music.

I was invited to perform on a large farm in Mount Bethel PA to help raise money for a private event. A friend I have has a 12 year old neice who has brain cancer which has come back now. So I along with several other musicians did everything we could to raise money for this show so this child could go get cancer treatments in St Judes Hospital for children. We were able to raise a good amount of money. There were prizes for the winners but all the winners threw the winnings back for this child to have. I pray and hope for this 12 year old named Amilia. I sang some of the new songs coming out now like Sleep Walkin At the Corner Deli, And Stayin In Belvidere which rocks pretty good! I am glad I was able to help and be part of this important time with the music. I just wanted to let everyone know, that I am back working hard again. Things slowed down a little when my wife got here from another country. So my Bride is here Yahoo! But now we are back to a heavey practice schedule. I am working with my Drummer Guy in his studios working out the songs and just how it is all going to sound when we perform this music live. Now I can get my voice back into shape with constant singing and working the music which is what I really needed. I want very much to plan for an appearance in the summer of 2009. Just not sure what the dates are yet. But we are trying to get out there. I know I have to let the radio community know what is going on soon. they will want to start playing some of the music we are recording out there so everyone will get the chance to know what is going on. There are many new songs that have not been put out yet which we will do this summer. So I think it will be a good summer this year. Listen for us. Take care Gene Gardiner

This is the new year! Happy New Years from all of us here at ENG Entertainment!!!!!! Yahoo! As of now the stage is set for all new music to go into an all new song list for this year! Gene Gardiner will be working band practice for the next couple of months to bring the Illegal Tender Band up to date on the latest songs Gene will be performing this year! The music is so cool!!! Gene Gardiner is getting radio airplay in 33 countries as of now. Also there has been a new promotion of his music into the Japanese market which will start the second week of January 2009. The Promoters expect his music to do very well there! With interest for it there already increasing it is expected it will do very good there on the radio stations. So the Country Rock he has been doing will have a whole new meaning that is for sure! And also his music has been coming more into the United States and will be showing up more on the radio stations here!

I will be in practice sessions with the Illegal Tender Band which is my back up band. We have new performers on board with us who are incredible good musicians! I can't wait to start singing this country rock music we have been writing and recording. I will keep you posted on when and where we will be doing the shows. I think we will probably start shows in the North western parts of New Jersey and move further out from there! This band is going to sound so so good! Now we have a new promotional CD out for the radio stations to play. It was requested by alot of radio stations in many other countries. So we had to jump on it quick and make this CD single for radio airplay. It is "Don't Wait too Long" that is on this single. It will be mailed out to the stations that ask us for it this week. We are getting the list made up now. SO many more radio stations will be playing it now! Yahoo!

Yes the show was heard three blocks away from us this last sunday the 7th of Sept. We rocked the town! Sure sounded good! We were invited to play at the Belvidere Hotel but there was not enough time to perform there! And best of all a Little girl about two years old sat on her dads lap to play the drums for us. She had a little trouble keeping time but she was very cute to watch. She stole the show!

Today ENG Entertainment said Gene Gardiner will be recording two hot new songs now getting ready to come into the recording studios! Sleep Walking To The Corner Deli and I'm Stayin In Belvidere!, are his two new releases coming out soon! Both up beat contry Rock Eagles type of delivery for sure in his music with these two songs. No doubt will smoke the Music Charts again just like he did last time!!! Yahoo!!!!!!! "Sleep Walking To the Corner Deli" is very funny and Gene wrote this to talk in the song about special characters in the Corner Deli where he goes to eat! Gene says Yeh anything can happen when your sleep walking, no telling where it will take you!

Gene scores very good on the mzeus.com chart coming out at # 1 !!! with his song Don't Wait Too Long! And it did this kind of thing when it was on the garageband.com charts getting two best guitar awards issued by the reviewers there this last spring!

Gene Gardiner and the Illegal Tender Band are set to perform a live show in Belvidere New Jersey on December 13th 2008 see calender for important information! It will be part of a country Rock Christmas show the town is presenting!

Gene Marries his Russian Angel Irina on March 7th 2008. Marriage will take place in Krasnodar Russia as a private event hosted by Irina's family there.
